Alexander Malcolm (Alex) practices law in association with Allen J. Wynperle. Alex graduated in 1996 from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Laws degree. He also has an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto, with a double specialist in History and Political Science. Alex was called to the Ontario Bar in 1998, and is a Member of the Law Society of Upper Canada.
Since his call to the Bar, Alex has carried on a civil litigation practice, with the majority of his experience in personal injury law. Alex has represented both injured individuals and insurance companies in all manner of disputes. He has appeared as counsel in trials in the Superior Court of Justice, and on appeal to the Divisional Court.
Alex has represented clients in cases before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, Canada Pension Plan Review Tribunals, the Environmental Assessment and Appeals Board, the Assessment Review Board, and the Ontario Municipal Board. He has also represented clients in numerous mediations and settlement conferences which resulted in large settlements.
Alex is proud to call Hamilton his home and comes from a family of lawyers that spans three generations and almost 100 years in this city.
